Greetings Sunshine Afterschool Family,

Happy new year! We hope you all had an amazing holiday break and are staying dry and warm these past few days.

This is a friendly reminder that the Extracurricular Sign-up deadline is Tuesday, January 14th. Space is also still available for our Full Day Program for MLK Day on Monday, January 20th. Please use the following forms to sign up!

BUSD Professional Staff Development Day on Wednesday, January 29

BUSD schools will be having their Professional Staff Development Day on Wednesday, January 29th. Students will have no school on this day. Sunshine After School will remain open for our After School hours from 12:30pm to 6:30pm on this day. 

Families may drop off their children directly at their classroom. 

Please note that your child's attendance for this day is optional. You will not be charged any additional fees as it is already included in your January tuition.

Full Day Program for MLK Day

• Sunshine School will be open from 8:30am to 6:00pm on Monday, January 20th for our Full Day Program. We will be located at the Sunshine Office Building (1363 Turlock Lane). Breakfast, lunch, and snack will be provided. 
• Families who have already signed up for all three January Full Day Program dates do not need to re-register.

Extracurricular Spring 2025

Sign-ups for Spring 2025 Extracurricular classes are here! Please review our available classes here: Spring 2025 Extracurriculars. A brief description of some of our classes can viewed on our Extracurricular Flyer Brochure.

Families may use the following link to sign-up for Extracurricular Classes or turn in a hard copy of the form to your child's lead teacher or to the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane).

Ruskin PTA Event: Winter Wonderland!

Ruskin Elementary's PTA would like to formally invite Ruskin Families to their Winter Wonderland Event on Friday, January 10th from 5:45pm to 8:00pm in Ruskin's Multipurpose Room. More information is provided below!
