Greetings Sunshine Family,

Each of your children brought such joy and happiness to our school this past year. We are so fortunate to know such amazing students and their families. We would like to extend a special thanks to all of you who have made our 2023 wonderful. Sunshine School wishes you all the best for the new year!

Below you will find information about our upcoming holiday breaks, Full Day Programs for Winter Break and MLK Day sign-ups, Extracurricular sign-ups for Spring 2024 (for After School students), and more!

Pajama Day on Thursday, December 21st for After School Program!
Sunshine After School will have Pajama Day on Thursday, December 21st. Come to Sunshine in school-appropriate pajamas (or comfy clothes) for a cozy and relaxing day before the holiday begins! Please remember to wear/bring appropriate shoes for outdoor reccess (if weather permits). Students may also bring their favorite stuffed animal to school as well!

Sunshine Preschool and After School locations will not be holding our Annual Holiday Potluck this year. We will be sending home a small gift of gratitude for our students and families this holiday season later this week!

Holidays
Sunshine Preschool will be CLOSED from Friday, December 22nd through Monday, January 1st for Winter Break. We will be back in session on Tuesday, January 2nd.

Sunshine Preschool will also be CLOSED on Friday, February 9th to observe Lunar New Year.

Pajama Day on Thursday, December 21st!
Sunshine After School will have Pajama Day on Thursday, December 21st. Come to Sunshine in school-appropriate pajamas (or comfy clothes) for a cozy and relaxing day before the holiday begins! Holidays
Sunshine After School will be CLOSED from December 22nd through January 1st for Winter Break. We will be open for our Full Day Program from Tuesday, January 3rd to Friday, January 6th for students who have signed up. Sunshine will be back to our regular After School schedule on Monday, January 8th. 

Full Day Program & Winter Break  
Sunshine School will be OPEN on the following days during Winter Break: Tuesday, January 2nd to Friday, January 5th as well as Monday, January 15th for MLK Day from 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Families will need to sign-up and pay to reserve a space for their child during those dates. Parents can pay online through their Sunshine account or at the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane). Space is LIMITED so please sign up as soon as possible. The tuition is $400 for all five days or $95 per day.

Tuition
Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. Parents may check their balance online at www.mysunshineschool.com. Please pay the amount owed by January 10th or a late fee of 10% will apply. Thank you for your cooperation. 

Spring 2024 Extracurricular Sign-up
Sign-ups for Spring 2024 Extracurricular classes are here! Please review our available classes here: Spring 2024 Extracurriculars. By popular demand, our Reading Class is now available again next school term! A brief description of some of our classes can viewed on our Extracurricular Flyer Brochure.

Families may use the following link to sign-up for Extracurricular Classes or turn in a hard copy of the form to your child's lead teacher or to the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane).

The last day to sign up for Extracurricular Classes is Tuesday, January 16th. 

Extracurricular classes will begin on the week of January 22nd. We will be sending out the roster and updated schedule once the roster has been finalised.
