After School: Sunshine is about academic, social, emotional, and leadership success. This month
we want to congratulate Michelle Chiu for her outstanding leadership and community efforts.
Michelle joined K-kids since 2nd grade. She was sergeant at arm the first year and was elected
vice president the 2nd year. She enjoyed being a K-kid as she wanted to help keeping the school
clean. Her main duty was to pick up trash and to water the plants during her K-kid years.
She sold soda at the Farmer’s market in late September for K-kid fund raising.
Her next project is to plant flowers in front of the school office. Each of us can make this world
a better place! Thank you Michelle for making the difference!

After School: We are grateful for Berreyessa School
District and Ruskin Elementary School for providing us two classrooms to host our After School
Program. Turlock classrooms will now host Kindergartens and 1st graders. Ruskin F-3 will host
2nd and 3rd graders. Ruskin A-2 will host 4th graders and up.

General: Sunshine School is going GREEN! In our effort to save trees and improve efficiency,
we have launched our "ON-LINE RECEIPT". The instruction to login has been provided
to each location a few weeks ago. If you still need assistance with this service, please
email Admin.

General: Sunshine School is going GREENER! In our effort to save environment,
we have started an alpha program at Sierra location. We are requesting that each child bring
daily a set of non-breakable bowls, cups, and utensils. At the end of the day, please take
them home and wash them. This way, we all can do our share to minimize our Earth from being
polluted with non-degradeable garbage.
